On November 18, Providence Health Care Ventures Senior Director of Medical Technologies, Vikram Devdas, stepped into the spotlight as moderator for the Scaleup Academy Webinar: HealthTech Innovation in BC – Scaling for Impact, hosted by BC Tech.

The conversation tackled a big question: How do you scale breakthrough health care innovation in one of the most complex industries? Vikram guided an engaging discussion with leaders from BC’s thriving HealthTech sector, including Tiffany Chiu (AbCellera), Vahid Shababi (Hydreight Technologies), and Kevin Chaplin (Kardium). Together, they explored how medtech, research, and care delivery innovations are improving patient outcomes while navigating the challenges of scaling within health systems.

The session underscored the momentum and collaboration driving HealthTech forward in BC—and the critical role of partnerships in making innovation sustainable and impactful.
